Sketchbook Owl

Very occasionally a ghostly Barn Owl swoops by my kitchen window at dusk. Every time I am astonished. She moves more like a silently passing pillow slip than a bird!

This is a thick-paged moleskin sketchbook, and I used earth colours from a watercolour palette and a very chunky paint brush.
